Influence of breed, production system and fecundity on serum antioxidant profiles of goats reared in the tropical Island conditions

The present study assessed the physiological antioxidant status of goats reared under humid tropical island ecosystem Andaman and Nicobar Islands (ANI). From 2019 to 2020, 25 multiparous non-pregnant does with three six kidding records maintained in organized farm Central Island Agricultural Institute (CIARI) farmer’s field flocks from South district were selected for study. Antioxidant markers such as total capacity (TAC), superoxide dismutase (SOD), TG (Total glutathione) catalase (CAT) analyzed blood serum respect rearing systems, breeds level fecundity.
